People aren’t working and Food Bank requests are up. Stocks are depleted and twice as many people as normal are accessing. Donations are needed to help those in need.
Agriculture Wildfire Workshop
On January 18th from 8:30am – 3:00pm at the Prestige Harbour Inn (251 Harbour Front Dr NE, Salmon Arm, BC V1E 2W), the BC Agriculture and Food Climate Action Initiative is hosting an agriculture and wildfire risk reduction workshop aimed at agricultural producers from all sectors, wildfire response and emergency personnel, and local government representatives.
